Position Description:

The Outside Process Coordinator will provide communication and coordination within the testing and technical team. Responsibilities include tracking parts at outside testing suppliers (Destructive and Non-Destructive) to ensure daily metrics are achieved and critical dates per the master production schedule are met. The incumbent will ensure testing data (certs) are accurately entered daily in TROPOS and Autoform and any non-conformances are documented. This position actively partners with QA, technical and shipping departments to communicate testing status, WIP position, part progression and daily throughput performance.

Essential Functions: This is a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities, and is not all inclusive. Incumbent(s) may and may be required to perform additional, position-specific tasks.

  • Reviews and accurately enter testing data (certs) in TROPOS and Autoform

  • Creates non-conformances for any testing failures and communicate any retests needed

  • Prepares purchase orders for Outside Testing Suppliers

  • Follows up on jobs in process at outside testing suppliers to ensure requirements and dates are met

  • Prioritizes work schedules with outside testing suppliers to meet the master production schedule

  • Progresses WIP and tracks parts through all stages within testing department

  • Updates testing spreadsheets

  • Monitors span days through all testing resources

  • Tests remnant control (catalog and retrieval)

Physical Demands:

Work Location/Environmental Requirements: Nickel and titanium manufacturing facility. Exposure to: moving mechanical parts; wet and/or humid conditions; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme cold, extreme heat, vibration; loud noise level

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience planning, scheduling, or testing experience

  • Strong data entry experience with an emphasis in testing data (temperatures, numerical values, alpha/numerical serial numbers, etc.)

  • Basic computer knowledge. Proficiency with Tropos, QPulse and Microsoft Office

  • 1+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent from an accredited institution

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience planning, scheduling, or testing experience

  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
